really, there isn't. well, at least nothing blog-worthy these days.
I did manage to have some fun using a little program to stitch together pictures automagically to create some very interesting panoramic pictures:
you need to click on it to get the real effect.
and looking at this picture now, i've just come up with some really cool ideas! i'll try more and post the results later.
so look for another post later this week.

fiesta!
that's mexican for party. we'll cover both parts of that statement.
the first part is the party
on saturday, we traveled to the 'Burgh to hit up South Park for Olivia & Will's birthday party. i must honestly say that i've never seen that many kids under the age of 4. ever. it was absolute pandemonium. well, not really as I just stood around and chatted with folks, while kids ate cake and opened presents.
you know what they say. one man's cake is... another man's cake?
anyway, with some liquid libations, we had such child demeaning activities such as slide races - Sarah lost:
Kids v. Adults in wrestling. Wes shamed us all by losing to Olivia:
and then Bob decided to take on Will in regular old boxing. Will is seen here wiping up Bob. Literally while Bob's trying to take some cheap shots.
after the fun and festivites, we headed on back North and Abigail wanted to see where the Penguins play - I kid you not. So we swung by Mellon Arena and showed her:
we topped off the day before the long and tiring drive by hitting up Mad Mex for dinner. As usual the food there is always good. Erie needs one.
Badly.

private eyes
they're watching you.
so, that's bailey's Chinese Water Dragon that she picked up today. it doesn't have a name, yet, but seeing that this thing can live for 15 years and get three feet long, i guess she'll have to name it. to make everyone feel old - if it lives to expectancy, Bailey will be 27 at that point.
27.
but the new pet madness doesn't stop there. taking a cue from Norah and the fish tank, who gets one? that's right. I do... just kidding. abby & emma picked up one yesterday and couldn't wait till today to get fish for it.
emma got two dalmation molly's and abigail got steve and steve - two yellow fancy guppies. good thing there's only four fish - we can't afford to feed that many more. what's that emma? babies swimming - no, it's probably poop....
guh. buy four and apparently the go into shock and kick out some babies in the tank - lovely.
(black things in corner)
anyway, so, now the pet total in decreasing total:
10 fish
2 dogs
1 cat
1 turtle
1 rabbit
1 chinese water dragon
awesome.
at least we're not the allens and have 20 cardboard cows in the front yard:
yeah, that was interesting.

an update!
see? even Ollie is excited about a post!
there's no real reason that there hasn't been an update, it's just been a crazy week per usual and i'm loving every minute of it.
the spring sports season is in full swing right now, we've got basketball and softball going on right now - and we throw in some dance to boot. the weeks fly by at this point!
so i did manage to get out and walk 20 mile creek this morning - in the guise of fishing. i wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a fish in that entire creek. in my defense, the water was really up and running good:
but we've gotten a good bunch of water this week, and it's managed to blow out every hole that i know if in upper 20 mile creek. boo. so with opening day coming up - i need to get out and scout out where the honey holes are.
so with a failed "fishing" expedition - i turned to photographing a few interesting things in the area. an old foundation and some interesting trees. nothing exciting. nothing with the kids. enjoy!

kinda looks like a creepy face!
till later...
